Some People Shouldn’t Get To Profit From Black History Month

It’s Black History Month, and sellers everywhere in America are trying to promote their products with the spirit behind the celebration—just like me with my black jagua tattoos kits. But I just want to point out that some people should refrain from attempting to burnish their image by associating themselves with Black people and The Month.

For example, Ivanka Trump tweeted the following on February 1st:

“During #BlackHistoryMonth, we celebrate heroes like Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who were sojourners for freedom — and we resolve to continue to bring greater, equality, dignity, and opportunity to all Americans, regardless of race or background.”

Um, as reported by the New York Times, here’s what President Shithole* had to say about a Black accountant working in one of his hotels: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.”

Anyone bearing the Trump name should never comment on Black History Month or have the gall to utter the words, Dr. Martin Luther King. Why? Because the president is a racist!

It would be like sitting Attorney General Jeff Sessions speaking at a NAACP event, when  former colleagues testified that Sessions used the n-word and joked about the Ku Klux Klan, saying he thought they were “okay, until he learned that they smoked marijuana.” Ah, the people in this President’s cabinet!

I hope I’ve made my point. Now, as a Black business owner who manufactures the Earth Henna Black Jagua Temporary Tattoo Kit, I feel I am uniquely qualified to pitch my product during Black History Month. I’m black! Jagua tattoos are black! They leave a blue/black stain on the skin that is a dead ringer for permanent tattoos. I am uniquely qualified, and I’m hoping like hell to profit from the ingenuity, innovation, and struggles of the great Black leaders and activists that have come before me. Thank you for supporting my business! Visit us at www.earthhenna.com.

*My new name for Trump since his comments about Haiti, where I was born.
